A sequel is unsurprising, given that The Batman has grossed over $750 million globally and has already outperformed streaming estimates for Warner Bros.’ HBO Max service in the United States in the last week.

The movie is presently the highest-grossing film of 2022. It’s now available to stream on HBO Max, and it’s already attracted 4.1 million views in its first week.

It has surpassed the viewership records of other major DC films on the platform, including The Suicide Squad, Justice League, and Wonder Woman 1984.
