Demon Slayer Season 2 was recently got out, and after watching the episode, fans are eager to learn more about Nezuko Kamado’s new Demon form and its power.

Warning:This post contains some major spoilers from Demon Slayer Season 2 Entertainment District Arc.

The greatest highlight of Demon Slayer Season 2 was undoubtedly Nezuko’s appearance at the final minute to save Tanjiro. But Nezuko wasn’t the same sweet little demon we’d seen in earlier episodes. She had fully developed into an Awakened Demon.

How did Nezuko Transform into a full Demon?

Nezuko Transform

After being infected with Muzan’s blood, Nezuko has been transformed into a demon. However, for some unexplained reason, she managed to retain a significant percentage of her humanity, allowing her to become a demon without being able to consume human blood.

Daki effortlessly cuts Nezuko in half, as well as her arm and leg, during one of their fights. Although Nezuko had never swallowed a human, Daki assumed she wouldn’t be able to recover. However, Nezuko quickly recovers her physical parts, which comes as a surprise to Daki. Nezuko then transforms into her Berserk Demon form, popularly known as her “Awakened Form.”

She also gets a Whitehorn on her forehead and a vine pattern that runs from her hands to her legs, giving her a more demonic appearance. Upon awakening, Nezuko’s physical abilities reach the level of an Upper Rank. That is why she was able to regenerate her body parts so rapidly.

Nezuko Kamado’s

Nezuko is a powerful demon. She was able to grow so quickly because Muzan Kibutsuji gave her a large amount of blood when he transformed her into a demon, as well as the fact that she does not need to consume humans in order to stay alive. She was able to defeat her opponents despite initially being overwhelmed in several battles throughout the series.

Abnormal Demon Physiology

Nezuko, as the “chosen demon,” possesses unique demonic characteristics that set her apart from all other demons. Most importantly, Nezuko is able to regenerate her power without consuming anyone, unlike other demons. Instead, she regains her strength only through sleep. However, she would need to rest for a long period of time to heal and regain her strength.

Awakened Form

During the fight against Daki in Episode 6, Nezuko transformed in Awakened Beast form. Nezuko can undergo a berserk condition. She transforms into an adult version of herself in her darkened state with vine-like tattoos covering her body and a single horn emerging from the right side of her head.

Nezuko has been given extraordinary physical abilities, and her regeneration has enhanced to the level equal to that of the Upper Ranks, at the cost of requiring her to consume human blood.

Sunlight Resistance

Nezuko developed tolerance to sunlight during their combat with Upper-Rank Four, Hantengu, a feat unimaginable for demons, including the Demon King himself. She can walk and travel during the day without being burned to ash, thanks to her immunity to sunlight, forcing Muzan to change his ambitions and hunt and absorb her to conquer the sun himself.

Immense Regeneration and Strength

We’ve seen how Nezuko’s regeneration skills have been increased, allowing her to heal in the blink of an eye. Her regeneration was slow when she initially became a demon, and she took a long time to cure slash wounds compared to other demons. Her regeneration skill had progressed to the point that she could reconnect her entire torso and body components, matching the caliber of the Upper Ranks.

Nezuko has no combat experience and depends on physical strength to execute rapid and powerful kicks. Despite having her legs torn off by Susamaru’s handballs earlier, Nezuko has enhanced her power in fighting during desperate conditions, such as strengthening her legs to kick back Susamaru’s handballs.

Nezuko Blood Demon Art

Nezuko Blood Demon Art

Nezuko’s Blood Demon Art empowers her to create and manipulate peculiar pinkish demonic flames made from her blood. Nezuko can accomplish this by either burning her blood or conjuring it up out of thin air. Her flames have a unique feature that makes them only injure demons and demon-derived objects while being entirely harmless to humans and other things.

Her flames have also been revealed to impede demon regeneration to some level, as shown by Daki’s temporary inability to regenerate after being burned by her flames.

Nezuko healing factor

Major Spoiler: She saved Inosuke and Tengen Uzui from death by burning off Gyutaro’s poison and turning Tanjiro’s Nichirin Sword bright crimson, giving him a much-needed advantage against Hantengu’s clones.

She doesn’t use her Blood Demon Arts as frequently as she would like because too much blood could cause her to pass out.

How old is Nezuko in season 3 (In Full Demon Form)

Nezuko Kamado’s age is initially introduced as 14 years old at the beginning of the series “Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba”. However, as the series progresses, her age remains constant as her character does not physically age due to the transformation into a demon. Therefore, throughout the entire series, including any hypothetical Season 3, Nezuko would still be 14 years old, unless there are specific narrative developments indicating otherwise.

What Rank is Nezuko? Is she most powerful upper-rank level demon?

No, she is powerful but not powerful enough to defeat the demons of a higher level. Daki, an upper rank 6 level demon, was dominated by her. Nezuko’s regeneration, according to Daki, is comparable to an upper rank.

Since she is weaker than Kokushibo, Douma, Akaza, and Hatengu, Nezuko is an upper rank 5 level demon. Remember that upper rank is meant to be stronger than Hashiras, but this generation of Hashiras is much more powerful than the previous one thus, Nezuko had to push herself to the edge to defeat Giyuu Hashira.

This is why Nezuko is the series’ 7th most powerful demon. She is unquestionably one of Demon Slayer’s top ten most powerful characters.
