Cobra Kai Season 5 Could Arrive Early on Netflix
Cobra Kai was renewed for season 5 in August, four months before the Season 4 premiere. In our previous article, we have already shared the Cobra Kai Season 5 leak on-set pictures (Spoiler).
Netflix hasn’t confirmed a release date for Cobra Kai Season 5, but there is a good chance that it will arrive sooner than expected.
‘Cobra Kai’ Season 5 Shoot Has Already Finished
Cobra Kai was renewed in August for Season 5, and filming began in September. We were the first to report about Season 5 filming, which started on September 1 and ended on December 17. While filming for Cobra Kai Season 5 was officially completed on December 19.

Why ‘Cobra Kai’ Season 5 Could Arrive Early
This time Cobra Kai fans don’t have to wait as long as they did for Season 4. Netflix may release Season 5 ahead of schedule to capitalize on the show’s popularity and buzz.
As for Cobra Kai Season 4, filming ended in late April 2021, and the episode premiered on Netflix in late December, a delay of eight months. Cobra Kai Season 5 will premiere in August 2022 if Season 4 follows the same pattern.
The Cobra Kai show did not require any special effects or CGI editing, as seen for Stranger Things Season 4, which caused the show to be delayed several years. It was primarily due to the covid limitation and the numerous special effects to be added later on. On the other hand, Cobra Kai will have no trouble finishing its post-production on schedule.
When will the ‘Cobra Kai’ Season 5 be released on Netflix?
If there are no delays and the Cobra Kai team completes it “post-production” in a given timeframe. Then you can expect it to come in August of 2022 on Netflix.
