WandaVision is a Disney+ series created by Jac Schaeffer and Directed by Matt Shakman, based on Marvel Comic. WandaVision already became a Top Watched streaming show in the first week of February. WandaVision was not the only thing that enchanted the people; the original featured song called “Agatha All Along” kept the audience tuned in.

“Agatha All Along,” from episode seven of WandaVision, has now been nominated for a Grammy Award for “Best Song Written For Visual Media.”

Kathryn Hahn, who plays Agatha Harkness in the film WandaVision, sings the song “Agatha All Along.” Interestingly, due to the continuing COVID-19 outbreak, Hahn recorded her vocal performance for the song through a Zoom call.

Following WandaVision’s popularity, the song also became a hit, peaking at number one on iTunes’ Soundtrack chart and fifth on iTunes’ Top 100 Singles chart.

Along with five other contenders, “Agatha All Along” has been nominated for “Best Song Written For Visual Media.”

Kathryn Hahn Demanded To Sing WandaVision’s Hit Song

According to her Interview in Empire, “I put headphones on, listened to it and stared slack-jawed at Matt [Shakman], who was looking at me with such a grin,” she recalls. “It was going to be called, I think, ‘That’s So Agatha’, but then they settled on ‘Agatha All Along’, which was, of course, so perfect. I got asked about singing it, and I said they’d have to pry it out of my hands – there’s no way anybody else was singing it!”

Hahn and director Matt Shakman were concerned of obtaining the proper footage for ‘Agatha All Along’ even before it was finalized. “At the end of each decade [shoot], Matt would say, ‘Okay, the theme song’,” Hahn explains. “And then we would spend 45 minutes shooting my little sections for what would ultimately be the reveal. Just me clowning around staring at the camera, and that was before we had recorded the song.”

Along with another great series, WandaVision has the distinction of being the first Grammy-nominated Disney Plus show. Season 2 of The Mandalorian has been nominated for an Emmy in the category of “Best Score Soundtrack For Visual Media.”
