‘Cobra Kai’ Overtake ‘Bridgerton’ to became Top-Watched Streaming Show of 2021

Netflix Cobra Kai and Bridgerton are fighting head-to-head for the Numero Uno spot. The Fearless Cobra Kai shown no mercy and thrown Bridgerton out of ring to take the Numero Uno crown.

Nielsen U.S latest ratings for streaming shows is out and Cobra Kai topped the chart for Jan. 4-10. Cobra Kai tops the list with viewers watching 2.1 billion minutes worth of martial arts action flick in that period. In comparison, Bridgerton followed with 1.6 billion hours.

However, Bridgerton, is the most popular original on a global platform, as stated by Netflix. While shows like Criminal Minds and Grey’s Anatomy clocking in less than half the stream time of Cobra Kai and Bridgerton.

Netflix still dominant the Nielsen charts along with Hulu, Disney+ and Amazon Prime Video. Pixar’s Soul remained the No. 1 streaming movie on the four platforms followed by Netflix’s We Can Be Heroes.

Netflix Cobra Kai Season 4 shooting already started and has been slated for January 2022 release.
